I would like to pay my respects to the family and friends of James D. McDermott.  He was taken from us earlier this year on February 27, 2014. This man has done so much for allowing billiard players to have access to quality cues at a very reasonable price.  By not compromising the quality of craftsmanship he has allowed people of any skill level looking for a great billiard cue to be able to afford one that will play well for many years.  I have personally owned three McDermott cues so far in my pool career and I plan to own many more.  I currently shoot with The Dubliner cue model M72A.  I hope that the McDermott family will continue his vision and continue the legacy and I wish them the best in the coming years. The following is his obituary used respectively from the Krause Funeral Homes and Funeral Service's website.
